Biographical Sketch
Sandra D. Eksioglu received her Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Florida in 2002 and joined the Industrial and Systems Engineering faculty at Mississippi State University in August 2005. Prior to joining Mississippi State, Dr. Eksioglu taught at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH) and University of Evansville (Evansville, IN).

Dr. Eksioglu’s research interests include supply chain optimization, logistics and supply chain management, network optimization and information technology. Dr. Eksioglu’s research has been funded by Mississippi Department of Transportation and East Mississippi Business Development Corporation.

Dr. Eksioglu has published papers in the European Journal of Operational Research, Computers and OR, IIE Transactions in Scheduling and Logistics, Lecture Notes in Computer Science and she has co-authored four books in the area of information technology. Dr. Eksioglu has presented her research at various professional conferences. She is a member of INFORMS and IIE.
