Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE)
IIE is the central professional society for those who are in - or preparing for - careers in fields relating to industrial engineering. The institute holds many annual conferences, provides educational publications and seminars, and is the professions spokesgroup on matters such as ISE educational requirements and accreditation; engineering licensing, research funding, and laws impacting the profession. The Mississippi State University Student Chapter holds meetings once a month that involve trips, speakers, current updates, and free food!
